It was necessary. It was demanded of me by the UC, by Aegis. By Cicero. It's what happened when the guns fell silent that I couldn't stomach.

He found us subjects... victims... but it was Erasistratus, my counterpart that I was scared of. He was enjoying his work. He didn't care about protecting the UC, or even the science. He just wanted power. Power over those poor, defenceless people.

I did nothing to stop them. My inaction was my action, and the end result is plain to see.
