Film Noir Audio Game: Montana Clark's Audio Adventures Episode ONE
TotokoTan for Chloe Henderson
Age: Early - Mid 20's.
Daughter of the deceased. A brilliant girl, but more interested in the occult than sciences. She values peace, striving to avoid confrontational disagreements. She's got a kind and warm personality, though she does get bad vibes when something is about to happen. High to medium range voice. She tries to be positive, though many doubt her abilities, even though she foretold a murder.
"...Hello, Mr. Clark? My name is Chloe Henderson, I got your number off of Craigslist, you said you take on.... weird cases? Cases other people wouldn't believe? It's a long story, but my mom, I think she's going to die. Tonight. Let me leave you my address....."
"They're not dark as in EVIL... They're dark as in... dark. Secret... Hidden... Shadows... They're always there, always watching."
"There's plenty I'm not telling you, but none of its relevant. Listen, I'm not going to start gossiping about my family. I can tell you he didn't do anything to hurt mom."
Thanks for auditioning! You've done a fantastic job at interpreting the script. I think that my only real feedback is your audio sounds like it's getting a little hollow at times, and sorta sounds like it's warbling around a little bit. I think Chloe should sound kinda urgent and stressed out in the first two lines. This stuff she's talking about, scares her pretty deeply, but she still has to act. Which leads her to be pretty defensive in the last line. You've done a great job making a likeable Chloe.
Yeah, I dunno. I'm not the best at audio editing, but I tried to get it as steady as I could. Hmmm. I tried to do that, but I can most definitely try again with more intensity. I was taking my inspiration from - I'm not sure if you're familiar with it, but - Maya Fey, from Phoenix Wright? She's a normal young woman with a horrible tendency to get herself wrapped up into murder cases, and at this point she'd probably be suspected for a suspect more than once - plus, psychic powers don't exactly sound too....realistic. Thank you! I've tried my best! If you want me to try again, just give the word!
