After dropping out of school during his teen years, he always sought a way to beat the system, often taking very risky work. His debts accumulated quickly. Just when things would turn around, the collectors would conveniently arrive, leaving him with next to nothing. This forced The Scavenger into an endless cycle of jumping from one questionable lead to the next. In a constant race to stay ahead of his increasing debts, he pursues each hunt with equal measures of wit and desperation. Jedidiah keeps foraging ahead, seeking a way to provide for his family, so they can enjoy the life he never had. Unfortunately, this has caused him to spend weeks or even months away from the people he cherishes most. As he looks to the future, he truly wonders if he can ever escape the life he inadvertently created for himself.
