Ages 15-18. As a teenager, Cal has become more of a peace keeper. He continually has concerns about what their colony is starting to do to the planet, and is starting to butt heads with the other colonists about "human supremacy." His relationship with Anemone becomes strained in these years. He's still kind and loving, but his strong morals are feeding into his emotions.

(unnerved, upset) She’s been going totally hard lately, huh. She asked me yesterday if I wanted to spar with her. She said it would be good for self-defense. I told her I don’t want to fight. Not her, not a training dummy, and not anything on this planet. For real. I’ve never seen her get so mad at me. She called me a baby, and told me I’m just gonna end up forcing everyone to protect me because I’m… weak, or helpless, or whatever. I just don’t think it’s right to fight anyone, especially the xenos. They were here first.
(curious, thinking) Maybe that’s where their breeding ground is? If someone goes there, maybe we could figure out what kinda animal they’re scared of… if they’re plant-eaters, something’s gotta hunt them for food.
(angry, upset) Honestly, you all fight all the time! You stay inside where it’s nice and dry, and you don’t appreciate how hard everyone else is working! It’s just whine, whine, whine!
