The Immortal Library // Pink Vampire

Voice Type: Medium, Energetic & Upbeat

Eliot has a memory that is more than photographic: He remembers every instance in perfect detail. So he turned into a vampire and tasked with chronicling the world's history. Normally, Eliot is burdened by over two hundred years of human history and it makes him really hate humanity. To avoid being a Debby Downer, he brainwashes himself when his Librarian duties aren't being called for. That means that he is generally a naive, gullible, upbeat person who lives in the moment. But when he has to be a Librarian, Eliot loses his shining optimism.

But you probably won't learn that unless you have Zariah hound him with interactions. To Zariah, Eliot is a scatterbrain and her best friend. They've protected each other socially since she moved here-- with Eliot showing the transfer student around and Zariah keeping him from getting hit by a truck or something. Eliot knew Zariah's mother when she was a child and promised to protect her daughter. It should be noted that the bad joke of Eliot's brainwashing is that he falls in love easily and then wipes that love out of his memory on accident. Zariah's the next of many romances Eliot has pursued and accidentally destroyed.

  • (he thinks Zariah has found him out and he trying to brush it off as a joke) "What? I have noo idea what you could be talking about. You're so funny, Zariah."

  • (very concerned: He just learned Zariah has been in a lot of danger without consulting him. He is sincerely concerned for her, but too upset to make that obvious. ) "Why didn't you say anything? I promised your mother I'd look out for you and breaking a promise with a witch is a bad idea!"

  • (darker; This side of his personality isn't a happy airhead, but someone who knows too much and hates it.) "Shut up. You have no idea what you're talking about. Now move out of my way. I hate repeating myself."
