Claire is one of those characters that can help you or kill you depending on how you treat her. She's from a family of witches, and her mothers have always been teased by the magical community for being inept. Claire tries to pick up the slack and earn her mothers' well deserved respect by being perfect... Too perfect. She uses spells and potions to make her classmates love her and devotes all of her free time to being the smartest, prettiest, most talented girl in school. Claire is burning herself out, and copes by secretly hating people who are "naturally perfect."
