Proud, suave, and assertive, The Desperado is a young, up-and-coming duelist seeking to forge his own path within the Underworld of Duel Monsters. He spent years dealing with various rivals who could never back up their words with their actions. Consequently, he became disgusted with many of the competitors he encountered. Losing his sense of empathy, he’s come to see most duelists as worthless, and dispatches them without mercy. Distracting his adversaries with sleight of hand and various other tactics, he derives great joy from proving their ineptitude. As a result, he has a tendency to underestimate nearly every duelist he meets. He secretly hopes to find someone who’s worth his time, but continued disappointment has only reinforced his negative assumptions. Moving from one job to the next, he is quickly gaining recognition as a force to be reckoned with.
