I come to the council on this day with a matter close to my heart. I wish to search for a means of bringing my mentor back from the dead.
There's something very sinister in the way you delivered the lines. There's also a certain 'wisdom' behind them, and you can tell this man has been through a lot. I think this is a fantastic audition. Only minor critique I would suggest is having the final line being more loud/projected, as to me it seems he's speaking to a large council/group and has the speaking floor. However, that could be interpreted differently. As a whole, this is great, good job :)
I can upload a second take with a louder council line to see if it feels better! Though, I assumed the "council" was a small number of authoritative figures he was standing in front of, not like a large republic of peeps ;O Doing takes is fun!
