helloimademon for Kagari
Age: 18
Kagari is a raging tomboy, refusing to wear anything that could be considered remotely feminine. She likes boots and baggy/roomy clothes to match her athleticism. Despite this, she will get very upset and angry if called a boy which happens quite often given her deep voice and masculine outfit. Kagari is always cheerful and bouncing with energy. She can also be quite airheaded at times, (even in serious situations) given her somewhat sheltered upbringing. She refuses to take "no" for an answer once she’s decided on something.
Voice: Kagarii has a very androgynous voice, sounding like a young boy or teenage girl. Her voice carries a lot of energy and fiery passion. Girls, please give me your best boy impression.
(Happily/Excitedly) "I'll have a double chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with extra chocolate sauce in a waffle cone please!...in fact, make that two!"
(Lecturing) "Idiot! Those orders were meant to protect people, weren't they?! If not, then they're at fault! Not you! So don't ever talk down to yourself like that!"
(Enraged/Yelling) "EXCUSE me?! Who are you calling a boy!?"
i'm not the best at yelling....
|| Audio: Low quality, loud BG hiss. Heavy reverb. Would recommend investing in a higher quality mic and recording space || Voice: Nice deep voice for the character. Lacking energy and enunciation. || Yelling: Don't be afraid to let yourself go with yelling in voice acting. You definitely have some potential as a future voice actor if you keep up practice practice practice!
Well I can't help the quality when I only have audacity... and a dell laptop... I also am not very much able to yell loudly without my family questioning what I'm doing... I don't have money to buy anything and if I did it would be amazon and basically take at most like 3 weeks to come. When I replayed it in Audacity it didn't have any "hiss" and sounded fine to me... but I kinda am only in 9th grade and haven't looked at audio stuff. If you think I should retry I'll try to find a good quality microphone that's 8 dollars or under... since tax and the fact my amazon account only has 10 dollars in gift cards on it...

I know feedback is supposed to be helpful. the most feedback I've gotten was that it was nice. then i didn't get the part so i assume that it means i won't get the role. I know that you think these are excuses but i don't have money really to buy a "basic set up" and i am not good with talking to people, especially my family. and my dad doesn't usually show concern or interest in anything i tell him. i tried to buy a mic on amazon (don't have anywhere else to buy it) but my account need to add more money before amazon will allow me to buy it. it's a very stupid feature. I have gotten 2 roles i think. they haven't contacted me and one isn't actually in the "my roles" category though i am apparently picked for that role. I will try to get a better set up, but i also have school and people to deal with. sorry if this still sounds like excuses. I guess i am just excusing the fact that i don't for some reason have audio stuff and a set up because i only found this website a few months. (or however long i made the account) Have a nice day!
Hey there Helloimademon! The description of this project states I'm only looking for professionally quality auditions (Pro Mics generally range from $100-$1000). I was a little older than you when I started looking into upgrading my home recording studio. And there are lots of different tips and tricks scattered all around the internet to help you improve! Good luck! I hope you continue pursuing voice acting!
