SOUND EDITORS

Sound editors are required to help us put voice lines together and find sound effects to accompany scenes. They will be lead by our Lead sound Editor JennaLou. Please attach some of your work with your audition and tell us a bit about yourself. Be sure to mention your Discord, Email and how much time you could offer to this volunteer project.

A brief given by our Sound lead: 

Sound editors! No experience is required as we have fun working together to help develop episodes as a whole, but we do ask for these when looking:

• you have access to multitrack audio editing software (currently our editors are using adobe audition, but as long as files can be exported to mp3 and/or wav using the software, it can be used)


• you have good insight on detailing stuff like balancing levels for both general and narrative purposes


• openness to feedback from other editors when making rough drafts


• you can identify moments for comedic and narrative timing


• you may be asked sometimes to record and/or source foley and sfx, so you understand issues around licensing and legalities of using other people’s work

Have fun, and play around with what you find interesting in audio. At the end of the day, we are creating a world alongside the artists to place the voice actor’s characters into. So the biggest thing we need is your dedication into telling an engaging story. Good luck!!
