Unpaid
Role assigned to: Urchids

MINOR ROLE

Captain James 'Jimmy' Eaton (he/him) is one of the youngest Captains of the SCPD - but he didn't get there through hard work and perseverance. It's all about nepotism and bribery, both of which that Jimmy excels at. He has a blasé attitude about actual police work and would rather spend his time playing golf with one percenters.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for an appropriately aged voice (30s) for Jimmy. Jimmy is smug, narcissistic, and power-hungry. His voice should be smooth, overly confident, and pompous. In other words, his voice should be as punch-able as his face.

We'd like to see natural and convincing acting rather than exaggerated or cartoonish - so please keep this in mind while auditioning.

We like to collaborate with our actors to bring characters to life - so bring your own interpretation to the role! Including more than one type of voice is encouraged. Any format (ABC, AABBCC, ABCABC etc) is accepted.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Actors must have no background noise and a quality microphone (prosumer preferred - but any good quality microphone is fine!) when recording. Please limit editing your audition to only cuts and minimising noise.

Language:
  • english
Voice description:
  • male adult
  • all american accents
  • [Amused. Leery] Do you know why I had Alder assign you as lead on this case, Dana? What - you think you're our best detective? (Laughs) Isn’t that quaint? No, sweetie. It’s because you actually put effort into your appearance.

  • [Snake-like. Smirking] You’ll take a demotion. Back to the sour barracks of your youth. Wouldn’t that be ideal? Being out on the frontlines again? You can make daisy chains and play nice with serial killers as much as you want.

  • [Despairing. Shrieking. He just lost his super expensive liquor] MY MACALLAN!!
