Captain Pogona is an original character created for this story. A member of the Keth race he appears in the first act and briefly at the beginning of the second. He is the captain of a luxury ship that Rot Lop Fan rescues in the first act. His role is small but important. He's good-natured and nice enough if maybe a little ill prepared.
Nothing to special to note about his voice. Just needs to be able to present a range of emotions from fear, to solemness, to joy. So if you can manage that and do something interesting vocally then that'd be great.
Oh A Green Lantern! Please help us! Our engines are all failing! We're
moments away from being crushed! (Desperate, completely out of ideas of
what to do.)Captain to all hands, load the escape pods. This is a full evacuation!
(Still a major sense of urgency, but attempting to maintain composure
since he's giving an order)Captain Pogona to Green Lantern. The majority of my crew is ready to go,
there are only a handful of us left. We're willing to go down with the
ship. I'm preparing to launch the remaining pods now. (Solem, accepting
his fate)
