Isamot Kol is a Green Lantern and served as a solider before being chosen to serve in the corps. Isamot Kol is incredibly loyal and tough as nails. He's a reptile like alien and does have regenerative biology. So when he jokes about losing an arm, and it coming back, he's being honest. It will happen. In this story Isamot Kol was the lantern who saved the Brillar by removing a section of their planet and flying off with it back to Oa to give them shelter.
Isamot Kol is written very down to earth in a blue collar kind of way, he uses a lot of contractions when he speaks and occasionally let's his words run together. His being reptilian should have an effect on his voice but again the line between interesting and annoying. I'm thinking a bit of a raspiness to his voice would help. Perhaps a slight hiss applied to words with an S, but not to the point where it becomes silly. Don't want Kaa from The Jungle Book to just show up in the middle of this.
