Undertale Podfic Series: "Flowey is Not a Good Life Coach"
June Holoubek for Papyrus
A high-energy skeleton who embodies confidence and charisma. Under his bold exterior lies a genuinely kind heart. In the events of "Flowey is Not a Good Life Coach," he initially serves as a friend to Flowey. However, the narrative takes a dark turn as he becomes an unwilling participant, forced to endure mental and physical torment that slowly erodes his spirit, leaving him a shadow of his former self.
Medium to high pitched, masculine, brash but simultaneously warm and energetic with a touch of forced regality.
We are looking for someone able to accurately portray Papyrus’ character shift, someone who can go from being uplifted and excited to someone who is paranoid and lashes out.
Someone open to portraying him in future projects is a major plus!
Please give 3 takes of each line.

(Curious) “Well, so what were you before? Were you cursed? Are you under an evil spell? (Frantic / Lighthearted) It’s not the kind that has to be broken by a kiss, is it? Because I’d like to point out right now that I don’t even have lips, and as much as I-”
(Desperate / Hopeful) “I know you're hurting. I know you suffered things you didn't deserve, and I can't imagine what it must feel like to be in your position. But you must stop. If you're my friend… I know you can do better, if you try. I'm sure of it.”
(Furious) “Oh, that's rich! So, I'm supposed to be peppy and cheerful all the time, am I? I'm not allowed to have a bad day? You're the one who stumbles around unwashed and half-dressed all the time! You don't do anything unless I physically shove you outside, and even then you put forth the absolute minimum effort you can get away with. When's the last time you washed those clothes? When's the last time you showered? Do you even remember? You smell like wet dog hair and feet. You can't even- no, you refuse to take care of yourself. You refuse to take anything seriously. You think I want to drag you along by the wrist for the rest of our lives? You think I want to be the one keeping you going day in and day out? I should be asking what's wrong with…I should…”
Your Papyrus voice is so charming! You illustrate the character's personality perfectly whilst also maintaining some novelty to the voice! I love it so much! You also performed the different tones amazingly!
