Masao looks to be a young man of 23, but is actually an Angel who works on Earth to protect the life on it and keep things in order. Although this position in Heaven's ranks doesn't have a name, the Demons who mock them call them "Agents of Order" to counter their Havoc. Some have adopted it, others have pridefully ignored it. Masao is one of the latter. He used to be a boyfriend of Ayame's, and is shocked when he sees that she's associating with Demons now. Although he's Angelic, he's conniving and calculating. He has a dark secret he hopes nobody will ever find out. If they do, it can mean the end of his career.
Vocal range: Medium-high, Medium.
(He emerges from a smoky street. There was just a battle going on. He saves Hotaru and Ayame, and is shocked when he sees Ayame.) Ayame...is that you? It's been so long...(He glares at Hotaru) You! Have you captured her or something? Caught you right in the act, didn't I? (Ayame defends Hotaru.) Huh. Well, I'll be damned. Ayame, I always knew you were into the bad-boy type.
(It is revealed that an UNSPECIFIED character who was thought to be dead really isn't. He is explaining to them how this happened.) Despite him being a demon, I saw lying in the streets and thought: "hey, what would J-man do?" To a demon, I thought he'd probably exorcise him or put him in a pig so he can destroy himself or something like that. That's not my style. So, I decided I'd try to help. After all, he could have some pivotal information to help me, you know? Although he was a vegetable, he kind of grew on me. Like a mushroom. (-"Mushrooms aren't a vegetable.") You're missing the point here.
(To Ayame who is about to leave after hiding at his house for a while.) You really care about him, don't you? Never thought I'd see such a good bond between two people so different. You two be careful, okay? Try not to get into any more battles. I don't want to have to save your asses again.
I wasn't exactly sure how to pronounce Ayame's name, but I gave it my best shot.
That's okay, it can be kind of confusing. You did well on the pronunciation for the most part, though, so congrats!
