Dimitri Tide is a very closed off boy. He does not like asking for things, let alone asking for help. He tries to keep his emotions to a minimum, but simply because he's found life easier that way. Nothing surprises him, and he gets along with his parents just fine. It also makes it easier to make decisions regarding his position as a Prince.

Granted, it has made it hard to control his magic. Dimitri Tide can manipulate water, but he has to become one with it. He has to level his emotions differently. Let them flow without resentment, so that he can reach the center of his magic and command the ocean as an alley.
He is prince to a kingdom called Beaksdale, and his father rules with an iron fist and heart of pride. The King loves his son and wife very much, but Dimitri can see that managing the kingdom can be rough sometimes.
