Dr. Ivo Robotnik, better known by the nickname of Dr. Eggman is the main antagonist of the series. Eggman is a mean evil scientist who often believes that his visions of the world are “misunderstood”, thus which is why he longs for world domination like so many other evil geniuses. He is aiming to rebuild the world into an entire utopia called “Eggman-Land”... Once he can successfully get his hands on it, that is. There is one tricky obstacle standing in the way of his dreams however, and that's none other than the Blue Blur himself, Sonic the Hedgehog! Dr. Eggman always tries his best to create so many inventions to slow Sonic down, (Pun not intended) but no matter how hard he tries, the Fastest Thing Alive always manages to come up top and foil the scientist's evil plans! In this game, he plans on creating 7 Chaos Emeralds, and merging them together in order to make the ultimate mutant chao named Chaos who acts as a power-hungry threat to society, and MUST be stopped as quickly as possible. Luckily for all of us, 'Quickly' is our hero Sonic's middle name!
