Mad Dummy is portrayed as a somewhat creepy, psychotic character with a minor mobster angle at the start of his number.
A raspy/gravelly voice (tenor/baritone) with a clear grasp on singing. Very intense, and able to transition between singing and speaking/yelling at the drop of a hat. He’s not just mad, he’s MAD. Actor needs to portray this.
[Exasperated and loud]: Who cares, who cares, WHO CARES?! I don't need friends! I've got KNIVES!
