NCR Pilots are specially trained individuals that are far and few in the NCR's military. Their fledgling Air Force, after all, contains only a few working vertibirds. They are used for all sorts of sorties, from dropping off troops to attack missions and even escorting the President of the New California Republic himself.

This Pilot was shot down behind Legion lines and ran for days to make it back to NCR territory. Upon meeting the Player, he had just swam the Colorado River with Legion forces in hot pursuit. He begs the Player to aid him, in which case the Player can choose to do so, or can choose to attack him based on allegiance to the Legion/Allegiance to themselves, or not get involved.
