Background: Unlike her on screen counterpart, Itachi is not a ninja. He is an aspiring film writer and serves as the series script cordinater. He and Pein used to be friends but Pein has sinister motives that Itachi is unaware of. He is also dating Sakura Haruno.

(Itachi discovers the truth about Pein's motives. He used to be childhood friends with him but he is starting to realize how fucked up he is. He is shocked, at a loss of words) That’s really fucked up…(he sighs in disbelief, then says quiet anger) here I thought he had changed over the years, but he’s still the same egomaniac as always.
(recalling an unpleasant memory) But things really took a toll when we all went to Cal-Arts. Pein had this genius idea that he was gonna be some sort of big name director and his short films were a bit (he struggles to find the right words)...shocking.
(Pein, the evil boss has requested Itachi to do something that he doesn't feel comfortable doing. Itachi is bitter, quiet, slower for more dramatic effect) It's a no from me too.
