Kion is the current king of the Tree of Life, alongside his mate Queen Rani. Kion has been able to use the roar of the elders, ever since he was a cub, protecting the Pride Lands as leader of the Lion Guard. Since becoming the king of the Tree of Life, protecting his home now has become increasingly harder ever since he became a father. Kion and Rani hope when their son is older, he will take their place as ruler of the Tree of Life.
