Home Life

Alexander was born to a young sailor and Mother Ursa. In the Linesch culture, Mothers are sworn to never marry. They are considered “married” by title. Mother Ursa was a sea witch who, during her reign, had a secret affair with a young sailor. After being found out, she realized she was pregnant with Alexander. Eventually, the queen of the Athena Court found out and demanded Mother Ursa to give her the child. 

School Life

Growing up, Alexander was homeschooled by the Athena Court's tutors. On the days when he was permitted to go into the water, he would teach himself alchemy. 

Childhood

When Alexander was 13, he began to notice a strange connection to water. Being a product of a human and a sea witch, Alexander had to go into the water once a week, to stop himself from getting dehydrated. But when he was 13, the ocean water would burn his skin upon contact. His eyes had stayed blue for a long time, but, after nearly dying from dehydration, one eye has changed to a sickly green color. He was soon banished from The Capital and lives with Sebastian in Mount Semsi.
