Abigail Strasser for Young Painter (Female)
RENEE is a young woman working at the pigment shop in 1870s France. Her dream of being a painter was crushed when she was a child, and now she believes she is a failure who is only good at mixing paint, noting more. She lives a harsh life, so her voice shouldn't be too youthful. Her life lacks any passion. That is, until her childhood friend burst into her shop in need of a help. Renee's desire to reconnect with him, helps her find her inner artist again, but the old trauma that stopped her from painting in the first place is getting in her way.

Hello Abigail!Thank you so much for auditioning for the role of Renee! I am in the process of narrowing down the list of talent, but there are too many good submissions. Would you be able to re-record the lines with an extra context for them? I’m also looking into matching the voices of the actors to see how they work together, so I would like to replace the first line (“What yellow did he use? Cadmium? Hm, if I mix it I will know for certain…”) with another, that is a part of the dialog with Honore, if you don’t mind.
