For this audition imagine dramatic dialogue in bleak dystopian environment, raining for dramatic effect.

Long Term Context:  Looking to test, dramatic monologue, and dialogue for upcoming projects

I'm looking for voice actors to establish report who can ultimately contribute their talents to a game I have in development.  I hope to explore themes such as our future/past and collective unconscious.  These roles are designed for me to gage your talent and how I can include your talent in the game.  These roles are unpaid for now but as the game gets flushed out there may be room for paid work in the future for the right voice talent(not guaranteed).  If I am unable to get a budget I would like to showcase voice talent like in a movie [sort of metal gear style] where actors are mentioned by name in the beginning credits.  It's important the characters have proper story arch's and proper role in the hero's journey.

Ultimately I am looking for folks who are committed to voice talent work long term as I hope this will my first project of many.  So if you would like to plant the seed for potential future collaboration please submit an audition here.

  • [Dramatic monologue] We thought it would make our lives easier, (pause)

  • we though it would save us from our struggle

  • we were wrong.

Thanks for the submission, the multiple takes are helpful.  I'll keep you in mind for this the only issue I have is the mic quality.  What kind of mic are you using?  It seems slightly I'm not sure how to describe it tinie maybe.  I'm trying to isolate what it is maybe a lack of base.

I also want to make sure I say, you're very talented, I listened to your other submissions, in terms of voice acting they are all great.

    Firstly, thank you.

On mic quality I forgot to dampen my environment and normalize my audio. Also forgot to readjust my settings so I probably have some mean room hiss.

As for the mic I'm using, it's a $40 ass Tonor TC 777 cause ya boy is broke.
