He's a pretty laid-back guy who feels responsible for looking after Eren and Mikasa after Eren's mother dies. He's got a strong-muscular built guy who used to be the leader of a squad - Garrison. Only fault is his lack of control when drinking. Important role in this film. Has quite a few lines.

The reason you couldn't protect your mother was because you lacked the strength....the reason I couldn't attack the Titan was because I lacked the courage!!
. My only director note would be to have the third line sound more emotional/dramatic. But given that you don't have the context, it was great.
