Matthew Anderson is the mayor of Appelhaven. Hailing from a long line of veterans and preachers, Anderson hopes to lead with an emphasis on honor and tradition. Through his peer review methods, Anderson has gained as much of a cult following as he has detractors, but it's not like the negative attention is valid. He just wants to ensure everyone is living an enriching, supportive, small-town community life. After all he's given up...why can't they see that?

  • You see, I come from a great line of people. My father was an army man, and my grandfather, his father, and his father before him. So to honor them while expressing dreaded individuality, I thought it be interesting to join the air force and leave to run for office. I never did see my grandfathers after that.

  • I'm not sure my wife knows what to do with herself anymore. I thought she'd be over this baby thing nine kids ago, but she's still going. She's pretty different from when I married her, a little dead. I only remember she's around if she's giving birth or making dinner. Sounds harsh, but I do pray she begins menopause. Maybe she'll find a new identity in knitting or marathon running
