Whoever is cast for Ryan will need to be able to play two characters, essentially. One character is a genuine sweet soul. The other character is an evil person. Both need to sound similar but have completely different vibes.
The final line in this audition is from the innocent sweet soul. The first two lines are from the evil persona.
That’s a very good question. I would say it’s because there was nothing to break. If I killed you immediately after the loss of your family, I feel it would have been a mercy killing. I don’t do mercy killings. They’re boring, unimpressive, mediocre… and way too easy.
