Prospectors are NCR Citizens that have come to the Mojave Wasteland in search of their fortune via scavenging. The only real difference between them and local scavengers is their name, which is a polite term for "Scavenger".

This Prospector just survived an attack on his rest stop by a local gang, and has fled with a friend to the outskirts. When the Player approaches, he warns them of the danger that lies up ahead.
