Anthony Kelp is the sort of 'Second Mate' of the crew. He is just as old as Captain Faux, around 30-35. He is a pretty level headed person, although a bit bland in his talking. I'm thinking of a Han Solo type character during the down time where it's diologue, like when Han is talking in the scene with Luke training and saying he doesn't believe in the force. This character is simular in the sense that he has seen a lot and the joy of life has sort of been taken out of him and he just lives life day by day.

  • "I meant that officially we've never been sent into a combat mission for the very purpose. Not that we haven't had our fair share of hostile encounters."

  • (Responding to Thomas saying he's never seen the Outer Colonies before)

"Trust me. On this side of the line, you won't find much more than this. Most of it is desolated and decaying. The 'outers are just there to serve the purpose of resources, nothing more. But, times like this make it worth it. Usually, at least."

  • (Responding to Captain Faux not supporting the rebellion; This can be a bit more heated, although still keep the tone of the character, just more frustrated)

"So you're against the rebellion now? What are you, a slot machine? You can't just keep negating the reality of the situation, Ben. One of these days you're going to have to pick a side and stick to it. Eventually both sides are going to-"

Good. One thing I would like you to do is with the final read, make it sound a bit more frustrated. Make him sound legitimately angry. I do like what you did, and it wasn't exactly what I was expecting either. So good job. But I'm curious what it would sound like the way I thought of it too. Other than that, maybe just bring the tone down a little bit? You can keep the voice, I kinda like it. But make him seem more grissled and "like a grandpa having to spend the day with family he doesn't like". I would give those suggestions a try, and we'll see how it sounds. Still, great job. It wasn't what I was expecting, and I liked it. Bravo.
