While this recording is being made the entire ship is in turmoil, and there is an alarm blaring in the background (you don't need to worry about the sound effects, just keep it in mind for context). This crew member is in a panic and should sound absolutely terrified.

I imagine the character with a southern accent, but other interpretations are welcome.
