Character Overview

Meet Rey! After “borrowing” his older brother’s training notes, Rey taught himself a teleportation ability. The start of his adventures begins with leaving his hometown with his friends to travel to a guild to continue training his new powers.    

Rey is a light-hearted, snarky, outgoing person who always wanted adventure. Before we could travel around the world, he settled for exploring the forests and caves outside the city. Rey swears up and down that “he’ll be careful” but according to everyone else, he is pretty reckless and mischievous. He is often the one getting into trouble or getting others into trouble, but it’s not intentional. Well, most of the time that this. Rey does mean well. He cares for friends and tries to get them to leave their comfort zone in order to grow and experience new things. Whether or not leaving their comfort zone is a good thing is to be debated.  

Voice: Lighthearted and fun-having. 

Line 0 Context: Rey is trying to convince his bookworm friend Ceren that he is rejecting the coolest job ever, being an adventurer in a guild! Rey knows his friend wants to travel and he just needs a little nudge.

Line 1 Context: After Estelle gets pickpocketed in a new city. Rey offers to use his teleportation ability to find them, knowing full well that's against the rules for him to use it (let alone have it) without permission. But who's going to see it? 

Line 2 Context: In a dangerous situation where Ceren is the only one who can use their ability, Rey gives a much-needed pep talk to encourage his friend.
