Herba is a male rabbit, teenager, maybe 17-18. Will be mostly doing narration this chapter. A likeable dude, sometimes a bit socially awkward. He can be a bit absentminded, yet is very introspective. He spends most of this chapter reminiscing on his childhood, how he tried too hard to befriend the new kid in town and ended up driving him away. Try going for an Ash Fox kind of voice (from Fantastic Mr. Fox), or feel free to make it your own! Herba is a supporting role and pays $20!

Strath: “Yeah yeah. Time flies whether you’re lookin’ or not. Keep your ears to the ground, kid.”
He glances at his wristwatch, “Speaking of ‘time’…” to himself
Herba: “So—wait, what about your brother? You said that he—!?”

*NOTE: ’heima’ is pronounced as ‘hay-ma’

Herba, frustrated: “Gah, I suck at talking to people! I thought I’d gotten better since working the front… but I think that I come off too strong…”

Herba: “Imagine you’re at a bookstore. {beat} You see this novel that, by the cover alone you KNOW you’d love!”

Herba: “Now—imagine that for some reason, you’re not allowed to read this book! The book doesn’t want you to read it, and odds are you’ll never get the chance.”

Herba: “That feeling of wanting to read others… I’ve nicknamed this notion, ‘Book People’!
