Maya is a minor character in the show, who's main purpose is to just read computer monitors and tell all the other characters the technical aspects of whats happening on the battlefield, then dumbing it down for the lest intelligent characters in the show. Most people kinda overlook her and I think only 3 other people know her name, so most try to avoid bringing it up by calling her Ma'am or dude. Some are even terrified whenever they see her in a room due to the fact that nobody remembers her even walking in. She has more of a monotone voice.
