Nice real place - loved your opening - Loved that you sounded like you were reacting to someone that was there with you. Good job on that crazy list - it's not easy - and your instincts were excellent - love your ability to listen and react and build a real scene. EXCELLENT WORK HERE - lots of change ups - you didn't try too hard. Took me on a journey and showed me you were actually having a conversation with someone. REALLY NICE WORK
Thank you so, so much, Deb! I really liked this monologue because there's a lot going on under the surface. The character speaks as if what they're doing is for the other character's sake but really, they're angry, resentful, and above all else, fearful. I really enjoyed the discrepancy between what's being said and where the emotion behind the words lies.
