I've been doing voice work since 2013 (no, that's not a typo; been a low-key part of this scene for over a decade), mostly fan and amateur work, with a smattering of professional roles here and there.
My natural voice is medium-low, and since I'm a Seattle boy originally, my natural accent is US northwest, though it lacks the peculiarities you sometimes hear from that part of the country. For instance, "bag" does not rhyme with "vague."
As far as acting goes, I get the most mileage from young adult and teen roles that fall close to (if generally younger than) my normal voice, but I've also gotten decent play with several other character types, from cold and stoic to rowdy and hot-blooded to high-pitched creature stuff, among others. I've read for many different types of projects, including audio dramas, animations, fandubs and video games, in genres spanning from action to comedy to drama to horror. While English is the only language I speak fluently, I have some familiarity with Spanish, German and Japanese. I'm also quite adept at intuiting or researching proper pronunciations for non-English words/phrases/names.
I've also attended a number of classes and workshops (a list of these can be seen elsewhere on my CCC profile, as can links to my LinkedIn profile and IMDb page), and received personal coaching from long-time industry greats such as Scott Burns, Pat Fraley and Everett Oliver.
Thank you for your time, and keep it real.
