Danny is very carefree, but he is still fully dependent on his parents, as he still lives with them. He often rants about his inability to find and keep a consistent job, often needing to work jobs he doesn't want to. He is at first generally friendly to Mae, but once finding out about she dropped out of college and is living with her parents rent free, he becomes quite insensitive towards Mae's issues, calling her a 'teenager again'.
