HELIOS Rising Heroes: Sing in the darkness
JSide for Jude Ares
Age: 25
Substance (Ability): Never Die (Capable of self-regeneration)
Description: A 12th Generation Hero and member of the anti-Eclipse unit.
Jude is a two-faced person who appears sociable and trustworthy, but in reality, he isn’t interested in mundane things. His motivation to become a Hero stems from the fact that he was born unable to feel pain, and so he became a thrill-seeker. He likes combat more than anyone else.
Pitch: Medium-low
Traits: Strong tone that can become quite raspy. A Hero who sounds more like an antagonist.
Jude has two personalities.
Normal Personality: Seemingly calm, charismatic, sociable, and trustworthy. Sounds slightly monotone/sarcastic.
Combat Personality: Prevalent for the scope of this project. Shows up during combat where he becomes extremely arrogant, yet is bored and looking for some entertainment. (His combat personality retains some aspects of his normal personality)
In “Frenzy Mode”, he becomes more excited, deranged, and reckless as he’s found his thrill. His voice also becomes very raspy and he enunciates words more harshly.
Other notes: He has an unusual obsession with his teammate Bianchi.

[Combat Personality - Normal speech] [Unapologetic, Uninterested in cooperating with his teammates during battle.] “Sorry, but it's every man for himself.”
[“Frenzy Mode” (Raising voice). Thrilled.] “I'm FUMING!”
[“Frenzy Mode” (Raising voice). Deranged, Elated, Boisterous laughter that is not “cartoonish”. Unable to contain his excitement. About to pulverize the enemy.] “Keh-… hehe… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
Thanks for your audition! Here’s my personal feedback: - Your pitch is closer to medium/medium-high rather than medium-low. It would be more appropriate for roles like Nico and Bianchi. - Both the voice and acting doesn't reflect this character's antagonistic traits well. - 2nd take of "I'm fuming!" is better, but the beginning of the line "I'm" is still read normally, making it sound disconnected. - Laughter sounds more appropriate for an evil cartoon character, especially since the "Ha ha ha"s are read so close together without any pauses in between.
