Ervin is the harbormaster at Port Royal who inspects and delivers supplies to the castle. Being half human and half Varia, he’s able to transform into a mermaid if his legs get wet. Hot blooded and obsessive, you’ll always find him in the water. He strives to be reliable and do the right thing, always looking out for others.

Like the main character he is bright and positive, but also a trusting and gullible man who cannot leave someone who is troubled alone. He doesn’t have a habit of thinking things through, even if he initially has a plan in mind; there’s always something he ends up forgetting, and this leads to him being annoying to some.
