Thatcher Gunnells for Voice Actor - Fishing boy
The kid with a buzz cut who is first seen fishing in the boat. Out of the three boys in the story he’s actually the most mature. Age wise somewhere around 13-15 years old. He actually likes fishing and finds it relaxing but also has a passion for telling stories. Not easily fooled, he quickly see’s through the other boy's pompous attitude and calls him out on it.
This character has a fair amount of dialogue for this film, most of it consists of his conversation/argument with the other older boy in the short. He first tries to re-tell what happened in a dramatic way and then calls out the other boy on his "too old for this sorta thing" attitude.
If you can read the scrip before recording the audition lines it should help give a bit more context to the scenes.

Shot 34 The boys have caught their breath and they both start to rant a bit Tall boy goes on to tell an elaborate story, trying to build up suspense as he nears the big reveal. "-HE spotted it first, cause he wasn’t even fishing… (pointing to the little kid) -But anyways, there was HUGE fiery thing in the sky! -It was some sort of flying monster!!"
Shot 36 - Close up of the boys, "Oh yeah? Well if you’re so sure that dragons aren’t real… Why don’t YOU go and check it out… alone!"
