Yuta is a rakshasa Sura born from the god of chaos and the king of the Garuda clan. Yuta has an immature, young sounding voice. He is kind and generally friendly although he has intense urges to eat other Sura, or strong humans. He develops a strong crush on Leez, although he isn’t sure whether it’s love or hunger that he feels. As a rakshasa, he is unable to use human speech. Yuta poses as a mute half to keep his sura identity secret. His 2nd stage is a young boy, seemingly 13 years old in appearance. He develops to 3rd stage during the course of the comic, resembling a boy around 17-18
(As a young boy) Big brother, I’m jealous of your wings. Mine aren’t a matched pair…I keep floundering and falling, and when I take out my wings, everyone starts staring at me…it makes me scared and sad and then I want to eat all of them.
(2nd stage.) Thank you for wanting to keep me safe…for not weighing your own gains and losses. It’s not something even blood brothers can do…but you, of another race, have done it for me. Would that I could protect you with the same innocence of heart. Why are my own desires so terrible? Still…Leez…I want to believe that this is love.
(3rd stage. Dark, possessive) I have to get away. So Leez…come with me. Then people will just remember you as ‘the poor girl who was abducted by a Sura’. They won’t say you’re on the bad side. Yes…that would be better. Let’s run away together, somewhere far away. Somewhere we don’t have to think about revenge…and no one will be able to come between us…(Horrified) N-no. L-Leez. Leez, why is there blood on you? No, I didn’t do this. I wouldn’t do such a thing. You are fine, right? Please say you’re fine… Please tell me nothing happened.
