Daemon was born in the Kingdom of Jameson, a childhood friend of Scarlett's, he was to be picked to marry her but everything changed when his home was arsoned at the age of 10, killing his parents inside. Scared, he left his life of nobility to hide working as a stable boy for 7 years. One day Daemon was working in the stable when he heard a scream, a horse was out of control with someone on it. After calming the horse and helping it's rider off, said rider takes off her hood, revealing her to be a beautiful Viera by the name of Selrena Cartino (Rena for short). The two later fell in love on and were engaged to be married after year and a half only for Rena to be kidnapped and murdered right in front of Daemon two days later. He then ventures to Eorzea to find her killer, finding out through his flirtatious personality, flirting with every woman he could to gain info (sometimes even spending the night) that the killer is Zephirin of the Knights of the Holy See in Ishgard. After avenging Rena he now is the Branchmaster of Fae's Dagger on Famfrit.  He is the Element of Water, the Reincarnation of Sir Matthew of Dragon Roost from the Kingdom of Spadeopolis and a member of the Legendary Four.
