Always a warm spirit towards Astrid who faces difficulties from everyone around her. Cristine never tries to raise her voice to Astrid and build her up through encouragement and positive reinforcement. That does not stop her from being stern and serious to those who try to interrupt the training process or believe they know the right way to help Astrid control her abilities. No matter what, at the end of the day Cristine will always put the well being of Astrid before the duty of the job.

(teaching moment/encouraging Astrid) I suggest you spend some more time in your studies rather than sparring this week, but you got stuck on how fast you should be going without considering the distance you had to travel.
(stern to her words/defending Astrid) I believe my exact words was that getting some in field experience could help hone her abilities.
(explaining her teaching methods/still a bit stern) Like you said I have a way of training Astrid to control her powers. Its already hard enough to redirect her heated emotions whenever she is over worked. I am not going to add unnecessary stress on top of it.
