Eddie's more of a cameo here, but he'll be a big part of the story moving forward. His mother, Jamie, died in a mysterious lab accident at Oscorp, nearly two years ago, and he's been fighting to get the truth ever since. It's important to know that Carl, Eddie's father, has since turned to heavy drinking, and is both neglectful and abusive towards him. Eddie feels untethered and alone, and he's lashing out at a world that left him that way.

In both of these lines, Eddie is confronting Harry, looking for answers about how and why his mother died while working at Oscorp. He's been trying to get closure for over a year.
