If you auditioned for this role on another casting call of mine, please DO NOT resubmit your audition! ALL auditions on previous casting calls will still be considered. I am just opening this role once more to gain more auditions, and once it officially closes. ALL auditions will be looked at and considered. HOWEVER, if you wish to change something about your audition, such as the pitch or different vocal direction, then that is fine. Just please do not submit the exact same audition and the exact same takes. Otherwise, it will cause confusion.

Disclaimer: Because the protagonist role is such a huge one, there is a possibility I may be casting multiple VAs to voice this character to be able to the divide the work so it doesn't all fall onto one person. There are 5 routes total, and because each chapter is around an hour long(I believe that there are 10 chapters each, with 3 endings but not all of the endings are an hour long. So I'll say there's about 11 and a half chapters length wise) there is a huge amount of work.  Please do not audition for this role if you will not commit to the work required. I will probably be assigning lines for this character every 2-3 (or even 4, maybe even longer) months depending on how things go, and your preferred schedule which you will be picking once you join the server. In addition to being committed, you must be able to demonstrate a range of acting abilities such as but not limited to: screaming/yelling, crying, etc. 

Lucette is the crown princess of Angielle. She is half human and half witch, and lost her mother at a young age. Ever since the death of her mother, Lucette became bitter about everything and hated people. Especially in the prologue, she is very rude and cold towards the other characters. She feels no guilt for her attitude, not even seeing anything wrong with her behavior. Even if the other characters are being nice or considerate towads her, Lucette treats them all the same. After she is cursed by Delora, she claims to be the victim of it all. Lucette ends up with the Cinderella curse, but in reverse. She goes from riches to rags overnight, and is forced to complete three acts of good in order to break her curse. Since she has never done anything nice in her life, Lucette doesn't understand the concept of goodness. Breaking the curse proves to be a very difficult task for her.

Lucette hates her step mother and step siblings. However, the one she hates the most is her step sister. She genuinely believes that Emelaigne is trying to take her place as the crowned princess. 

When her mother was alive, Lucette was taught to believe that nobody else in the world loved her as much as her mother. Being young and naive, Lucette listened to her mother and gave into the "mother knows best." It didn't help that after her mother's death, her father did not show her any care. He seemed to care more about his new wife and step children more than Lucette, causing her to dislike her father further.

You will sort of do two voices/vocal tones for this character well. One for when she has her cold attitude, and another for when her icy attitude has "thawed" away.

Voice: High to medium pitched, cold, selfish, and uncaring. Can also be up to interpretation, as long as it remains within the desired pitch.

2nd voice: It should be in the same pitch you did the other voice in, but this time warmer or kinder. Maybe a bit more gentle. Other interpretations are also allowed
