Vander is the adoptive father of Vi, Powder, Mylo and Claggor. He owns “The Last Drop” bar in the city of Zaun, and is a caring man who claims that violence is never the answer. Vander treasures his loved ones to the extent of giving his own life with the purpose of protecting them, and scolds them when they put their life in danger.

If you consider auditioning for this role, note the following:

• While it is not necessary to imitate his voice perfectly, remember to portray his maturity in your lines.

• If possible, include a rather raspy tone in his voice due to being a smoker.

• The first line is said honestly and directly to Vi. In the second line, he expresses anger yet worry. The third line is said before Vander dies, so express his concern for his children during his last moments.
