The mascot of the GameX Corp. game DoReMiFa Beat, the character of Penny Poppyseed was conceived by Daniel Parker. As a Bugster, Penny's origin is traced to the Y2K bug, which left what would be known as the Bugster Virus on the young Daniel's computer shortly following New Year's 2000. After Daniel extracted the virus from Eddie Hudson, Penny Poppyseed emerged from the Game Illness of Daniel's mother, Samantha Parker, at the cost of her life, thus completing Penny's existence as a Bugster.

Penny was assigned to be a navigator for the Kamen Riders, taking the guise of "Amanda Stuart" to blend in more easily. She was present when radiologist Tristan Walker was recruited to become Kamen Rider Snipe but had him discharged due to his insubordination. Afterwards, she accompanied Henry Clarke, who became Kamen Rider Brave, a genius surgeon capable of fighting the Bugster.
