Miss Lawrence is Violet's 'mother', though she would be more accurately considered her aunt. A speech therapist at the school that the Midnight Guard go to, she cares for Violet and Oliver and allows him to stay in their house with her due to Violet's condition. Though some would consider her morals to be somewhat flawed in that she's known to distribute drugs to those who don't exactly need to be medicated, she loves her child incredibly deeply and is incredibly determined to help anyone under her care, whether it be Violet, Oliver or any of their friends.
(Happy) Hey there College Boy, it's Mom. Well, Violet's Mom anyway. Obviously. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited for you! I can't believe you're actually going to college. I'm so proud.
(Annoyed) Olive, dear, I hope you *are* aware that I didn't permit you to live with my daughter for the sole reason of bolstering your own vain, romantic interests. I picked you because I *assumed* you were the best person for the job.
