Baker grew up in a military base, out of radio range of the rest of the group. Upon the 'mysterious' death of the base's occupants, he found documents hinting at research that suggested the outside world was safe once more. Grief stricken and at a loss for a purpose, he set out in search of other members of the human race to try and deliver the good news.
