IN REGARDS TO AN ACCENT while I realize that in the dub Yuri has a Russian accent, I will not make it required to give Yuri an accent and will leave it up to interpretation. If you would like to try a Russian accent, then by all means you are more than welcome, but it is not required.
Yuri "Yurio" Plisetsky is a 15-year-old competitive figure skater and one of the main characters of "Yuri!!! On Ice." Yuri is a second-generation figure skater from Russia who has dominated the Junior World Championships for three years straight, winning gold at the Junior Grand Prix Final. Yuri has incredible talent and is described by many to be a rising star in the figure skating world. Despite his age, he is already competing with many people older than him. Since his birthday is before the July 1st cutoff, he is set to make his Senior Division debut at 15, and is by far the youngest competitor. He is known by his competitors as 'The Russian Punk'.
Just like the other roles, I am not looking for a copy of Micah Solusod or any other voice actor. Do what you can to make it fit the character!
