Yuri Katsuki is a 23-year-old competitive figure skater and one of the main characters of "Yuri!!! On Ice." Throughout his career - which was essentially a flop right up until he gained Viktor as his coach - he often battled self-doubt and extreme anxiety due to feeling he was not cut out for figure skating. After failing to win the Grand Prix his first run, he goes back home to his family to figure out what to do with his life. When his rinkmate's daughters secretly leak a video of him performing one of his idol's - Viktor Nikiforov's - performances, Viktor himself travels to Japan to become Yuri's coach. Viktor is able to help him find his confidence and love for skating once again.
A very unsure/awkward young man voice would definitely suit Yuri, although I don't want another Bryce Papenbrook copy and I definitely don't need a copy of the Funimation Dub. As long as it embodies the character then do what you can and have fun with it!

My name is Yuri Katsuki! I'm twenty-three and I'm one of the dime-a-dozen figure skaters certified by the JSF. I had high hopes, but I came in last at my first Grand Prix final and I'm still having a hard time accepting that! I moved to Detroit to be trained at a top-notch facility, and worked hard to qualify, but before the match the pressure got to me and I started binge-eating. Then, the family dog died. I was a complete wreck. So my big day became a big failure. Man, talk about self-sabotage.
(Crying, breaking down) Why would you say something like that, like you're trying to test me? I'm used to being blamed for my own failures! But this time I'm anxious because my mistakes would reflect on you, too! I've been wondering if you secretly wanted to quit. (Viktor: Of course I don't--) I know! (Viktor: Should I just kiss you or something...?) No! Just have more faith than I do that I'll win! You don't have to say anything, just stand by me!
This sucks...from a physical standpoint, I'm not even close to eros. Eros...eros...it's what causes you to lose the ability to make normal decisions. For me, what causes me to lose that ability is...(Sudden realization! Gasp!) I got it! Pork Cutlet Bowls! That's what eros is to me! (Awkward silence) O-Oh, sorry! I didn't mean-- (Cut to him running away, screaming) Agh, I can't believe I actually said that! I wanna crawl under a rock and die!
